Abstract:
The article presents some key points in the life and creative work of Siegfried von Vegesack, a German writer, poet, and translator, specially focusing on Vegesack’s visit to Pyatigorsk and his tour of Mikhail Lermontov’s Museum. It is the first attempt to establish the impact Lermontov’s literary heritage had on some of Vegesack’s works.
