Abstract:
This article investigates the possibility of borrowing content in rewriting internet news. The author identifies three groups of information sources – the media, official websites of organizations, and wiki resources and private blogs – and looks at conditions they postulate for those wishing to copy their content. The article concludes that, besides the major media, which demand money for their content, rewriters have access to free information from a wide range of sources.
