Abstract:
The article looks at methods of analyzing ethnic tensions, including methods of critical discourse analysis, the ethnopsycholinguistic approach, used to analyze parameters that reflect levels of ethnic tensions, as well as a new method, which treats ethnic tensions as a process. A group of authors is developing ways of registering the dynamic character of ethnic tensions via opportunities for linguistic monitoring, provided by the Internet.
