Abstract:

The article discusses objectives and content of the training, necessary to prepare future teachers for facilitating aesthetic education in secondary schools, within the paradigm of both student-centered and competence-based approach. It describes the dual nature of such training, identifies its stages and principles, and gives a comprehensive description of professionally oriented aesthetic competence.
