Abstract:
The article analyses modern term-forming processes using examples from lexicographic publications, internet sources, and research papers. As basic principles of current term-forming policy, the author identifies collegial and effectual efforts to standardize terminology, as well as conceptual, logical and language consistency of terminological resources, their unified, highly specialized and recommending character, and both the term inventory inheritance and prospects.
