It describes the survey conducted in twenty-seven city schools in five districts of the city. The aim of the study was to reveal what languages Nizhny Novgorod school students speak at home (with family members) and what language they consider as native. The results of the study include the percentage of monolingual and multilingual families in each district of the city and the description of problems / challenges the surveyed schools and multilingual (migrant) students (and their families) are facing.
