Abstract:
The article summarizes key outcomes of research into English simple sentences as a means of representing conceptual content. The author identifies seven structural types of English simple sentences, defines concepts, represented by these sentence types, examines corresponding propositional models and mechanisms of structuring experience, and outlines prospects for further study.
