Abstract:

The article demonstrates the integrally anthropological content of modern communications, arguing that the new information- and communication-based nature of today’s society has had a significant influence on the anthropological content of communications and on social reality in general. The author reveals the interconnection between the current social changes and the nature of human potential and uniqueness of its development in the information era, presenting examples of shifts in human potential under the influence of modern communications, which can have negative impact on social development. Based on this methodology, she outlines key approaches to resolving conflicts and contradictions of modern social communications from the perspective of anthropological content. She also offers an analysis of social regulators, capable of influencing changes in the sphere of communications, and emphasizes the important role of education under the present conditions.
