Abstract:
The article examines the problem of escapism as a phenomenon, typical for the modern society. Disavowing its one-dimensional understanding, it suggests using the phenomenological approach to justify a new spatial model of escapism, underlining the necessity of a more comprehensive philosophical analysis of escapism’s specific forms.
