Abstract:
The article deals with lexical and grammatical factors in modern French that help to put two adjectival pre-modifiers in a noun phrase correctly. It analyzes the peculiarities of a multi-element noun phrase with two adjectives preceding the noun. The author also provides an analysis of options for combining the adjectival pre-modifiers and concludes that the positions of adjectives preceding a noun depend, among other factors, on the nature of the noun.
