Abstract:

The article looks at the results of a free association test based on the precedent phenomena, produced during Russia’s Patriotic War against Napoleon in 1812. The author analyzes the content of these precedent phenomena and constructs the semantic field “The 1812 War” as it exists in the contemporary linguistic consciousness of Russian speakers.
