Abstract:
The historical trajectory of an ethnos is determined by environmental conditions, interaction with other ethnic groups, and particular aspects of its own culture. Globalization, the advent of ICT technologies, and migration processes bring important changes and transform ethnoses’ economic space, political value systems, and traditional ways of ensuring their social and cultural continuity, blurring the boundaries of their ethnic and cultural identity and changing the traditional factors that influence the trajectory of their historical development.
