Abstract:

The article analyses the influence of globalization processes on the formation of identity in the modern world of media communications. Along with political, economic, technological and social aspects of globalization the author emphasizes the changes brought to cultures’ foundational values, beliefs, and personal relationships, and sees globalization as an important driving force in the developing media culture of global communications.
In the complex is accented of attention to the role of spirituality in the process of globalization.
