Abstract:
The nomeme is a term that reflects the semantic content of a proper name. The seme structure, which includes intentional, implicational and negative implicational, is closely connected with extralinguistic information about the proper name under analysis. The article includes the analysis of the nomeme ‘Beethoven’ which demonstrates a wide range of potential for actualizing its semes.
