Abstract:
The article analyzes the peculiarities of speech acts that express office assignments in the sphere of business communication and, on the basis of examples from modern German language fiction, proves that illocutionary semantics of business work assignments is predetermined by the communicative context, which functions as a means of expressing the communicants’ social identity.
