Abstract:

The article deals with some of the linguistic means of expressing the concept “weather” in modern English. The paper analyzes key lexical items which form the concept “weather,” grouping them into the frames “sun,” “fog,” “cloud(s),” “thunder,” “frost,” and “snow.”
