Abstract:
The paper deals with the application of the readdressing translation strategy to specialised translation, exemplified by a translation of a patient information leaflet. It establishes a complex of translation tactics under the chosen strategy which serve to effectively accomplish a translation goal defined in the given communicative situation of specialised translation.
