Abstract:
The paper discusses the clergyman – clergyman character model featured in many works of modern Russian Orthodox parish prose. Focusing on the stories by A. Shantaev, Y. Shipov, and A. Dyachenko, the author describes situations of formal interaction between clerical characters and defines their main functions in each specific situation.
