Abstract:
The article reviews the means of nomination of nonverbal behavior of men and women in the state of emotional tension in a novel of an English woman-author. Correlative relations between the type of emotional state (distress, eustress, searching state) and language representation of male and female nonverbal behavior are analyzed.
