Abstract:

The article analyses foreign languages education policy, looking at its primary goal, objectives, and content at the present stage of social development. Special  attention is given to objective factors which determine the specifics of political and educational decisions and actions. The article substantiates the strategic  orientation of language education policies at ensuring harmony between the society, the government, and private individuals, and justifies the necessity of taking  into account the planning and implementation of political and educational decisions.
