Abstract:
The article discusses some aspects of creating unambiguous descriptions of linguistic classification features that are meant to be used by linguistic experts. The author lists immanent qualities of classification features that influence experts‟ perception using the example of a structural-semantic classification of English emotional speech. She goes on to suggest possible corrections of such descriptions to prevent identification mistakes.
