Abstract:
From the start of his literary career, M. Voloshin was acutely aware that at the turn of the 20th century culture crossed an important boundary: at that crucial historical point literature was searching for new ways to fully represent the mysterious psychological world of an individual. Through expressing his personal preferences, Voloshin foreshadowed many contrasts of the future literary process. By comparing Voloshin‟s reflexions with the literary discussions of the mid-20th century, this article provides a fresh research perspective and paves the way for a number of new conclusions.
