Abstract:

The article highlights the necessity of training environmentally responsible students in the period of rethinking the requirements that modern society imposes on university graduates due to global environmental threats. An important factor is the coordination of educational programs aimed at the development of interdisciplinary links. The socio-cultural potential of knowing and using a foreign language fosters cultural, linguistic, and environmental learning and, consequently, contributes to sustainable development.
