Abstract:

The paper deals with the tragic fate of children during the period of World War II and gives a comparative analysis of a Russian short novel and a Thai novel, based on true stories. The article explores the themes of wartime childhood and tragic fate of teenagers and looks at V. Bogomolov’s and M. Chupinit’s poetic works, which were specifically aimed at raising public awareness about violations of children’s rights.
