Abstract:
The article looks at the linguistic, linguocognitive and motivational levels of the linguistic identity of a child, where a child’s linguistic identity means the child as a native speaker whose utterances reflect characteristics of verbal and cogitative activity that are typical specif-ically for a child’s world perception. Each of these structural levels displays peculiarities that are typical for a specific age. The authors conclude that the lexicon, grammar, thesaurus, аnd pragmaticon must be considered as part of children’s language acquisition process, which evolves as children grow up and their speech gradually improves.
