Abstract:

Constant updates in computer-mediated discourse, which, at this time, is seen as a largely autonomous and self-sufficient practice of speech, daily provides researchers with new language data, already partially stratified and clustered according to linguistic parameters. One essential feature of computer-mediated communication is its high saturation with secondary semiotic systems, artificial and formal languages, and, in the context of linguistic priorities of this environment, interdisciplinary discursive paradigm seems like the best possible option. The use of discourse-oriented research methods does not exclude their correlation with the technical realities of contemporary communication, while practice-oriented methodology, in its turn, requires a wide range of methods for the analysis of the broad and multifaceted area of computer-mediated discourse.
