Abstract:
The paper discusses some peculiarities of the worldview reflected in the Chinese language in comparison with the Russian linguistic world view, namely: expression of key nominative features by means of Chinese characters, lacunas, nominative density of concepts, correlation of objects, the time – space paradigm, logic of meaning construction, etc. It goes on to analyze ways of bridging the differences in order to optimize the Russian – Chinese intercultural communication.
