Abstract:
The article investigates auditory perception of emotively unmarked prosody in British English. It proposes an original computer-based method of auditory analysis that uses the online application “Speech Auditor,” specially designed for the purpose of the experiment, and describes the results of analysing auditory perception of individual emotively unmarked prosodic parameters.
