Abstract:
The paper addresses the issue of including a course in legal translation into the translator training curriculum to satisfy the needs of the labor market. The author analyzes the main features of legal language and the difficulties of legal translation, presents a brief overview of some courses in legal translation developed by Russian and foreign scholars, and describes her own legal translation course based on the genres of legal discourse.
