Abstract:
The article examines the experience of using the Flipgrid digital platform to form and develop foreign language communicative competence of LUNN undergraduate students both during the pandemic as well as after the return to face-to-face instruction. The authors describe advantages and disadvantages of working with the platform and analyze their insights into students’ experience with Flipgrid, obtained through empirical research methods, such as observation, survey, testing, and data analysis. The relevance of this study is dictated by the pressing need for modern educators to adapt to constant changes in the system of higher education and by their desire to work with maximum effectiveness even in situations with high levels of uncertainty. The study discusses potential possibilities for further use of the Flipgrid platform in the educational process, as the digital transformation of higher education pushes educators to look for new methods, forms, and resources in order to help students develop key professional competencies of the 21st century.
