Abstract:
The article is devoted to the description of linguistic security as a special object of linguistics. The authors emphasize that the modern information field is characterized by a variety of communication channels and a large flow of information, which, on the one hand, provides great opportunities for communicative activities, and, on the other hand, contains dangers associated with linguistic expansion. The article identifies and analyzes the main areas of research on key issues of linguistic security, focusing on the linguistic nature of cultural and social processes and structures. The research methods employed include contextual analysis, the linguistic statistical method, the method of linguistic modeling, discursive and structural-semantic methods, the conceptual method as well as correlation and cultural analyses. The subject of the article is related to the theory of linguistic personality, which is a direct development of the egocentric concept of language, which, in its turn, is related to the theory of influence. The authors conclude that language is a kind of channel for transmitting behavioral patterns, images, symbols, preferences, and meanings from their ancestors to subsequent generations. Concepts embedded in brain connections shape the experience of the future. The article highlights the multidimensional structure of linguistic security and confrontation and describes such aspects as the individual psychological aspect of linguistic security, understood as its personal component, the political aspect of linguistic security, and the social aspect of linguistic security. The authors focus on the important role of linguistic security in preserving the integrity of the government structure. In the course of the analysis of the features of linguistic security as a special object of linguistics, the authors come to the conclusion that issues of linguistic security and confrontation require an integrated approach to the analysis of patterns of functioning of the human linguistic mechanism.
