Abstract:
The article looks at intertextuality as a distinctive stylistic feature of the modern English-language Christian sermon. Intertextuality is viewed through the lens of systematic text analysis, i.e. in terms of investigating the semiotic mechanism of intertextuality, intext types, and their language and marking in the text.
