Abstract:

The article looks at the use of modern information technologies in the blended learning model in foreign language teaching, identifying their potential benefits and advantages, and specific competencies that they help target. It discusses possible models of blended learning and presents task-based learning as one option within the communication-oriented approach to foreign language teaching.
