Abstract:
The article looks at the history and development of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in N. A. Dobrolubov State Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, in light of DAAD’s main objectives in the area of education policy, and its collaboration with other RF schools and universities. It highlights the role of DAAD exchange programs in fostering student mobility in Nizhny Novgorod region in general and at LUNN in particular, with a special emphasis on DAAD’s German Studies projects and their role in promoting interest in the German language.
