Abstract:
The article examines modern Chinese and Russian euphemisms which denote the prenatal period from the point of view of linguocultural features of Russian and Chinese linguistic traditions. The authors conclude that these euphemisms verbalize mythological, socio-cultural, moral, and ethical assumptions of Russian and Chinese native speakers.
