Abstract:

The article seeks to assess the effectiveness of implementing the foreign language communicative training technology in teaching English as a second language to high school students. The author defines the qualitative and quantitative criteria used to control and evaluate the level of students’ dialogic speech skills, presents and analyzes the results of an experimental teaching period using the technology in question, and draws a number of conclusions about its educational and developmental potential.
