Author’s name:

Abstract:

The article deals with the group of quantifiers, which includes traditional numerals as well as lexical units that belong to other parts of speech but contain the meaning of quantity in their semantic structure. It also discusses two classifications of quantifiers, developed by Western cognitive linguists R. Langacker, G. Radden and R. Dirven, where quantifiers are subdivided into groups according to their syntactic function, meaning and combinability.
