Abstract:
Appraisal is incorporated into the conceptual framework of modality as a language-bound thought domain and as a text category. Interaction of appraisal elements, attached to nodal modalizing meanings and subordinate meanings in the modal framework of a text, facilitates content and meaning coherence.
