Abstract:
Using teaching German as an example, the paper describes the author’s vision for creating an electronic foreign language training course with an integrated system of tasks based on authentic digital corporate resources. The proposed course makes it possible to optimize the process of learning a foreign language for graduate school students, even after a significant break, by updating the basic skills they acquired as they studied for their bachelor’s degree. Particular attention is paid to estimating the value of authentic digital corporate resources in terms of their linguistic and didactic potential, which is determined by the terminological saturation of texts made available as online resources by various companies and events, as well as the relevance of terminology and a variety of styles used in formal and informal communication within the expert community. The article presents the results of practical evaluation of the courses already developed and launched.
