Abstract:
The article examines the cognitive model of language personality with mental peculiarities of devel-opment in case of their socialization in English-speaking community. The specifics of the identified linguacultural matrix as a set of hierarchically organized cultural paradigms are explored. From the point of view of anthropological approach the article aims to investigate verbal-semantic, thesaurus and motive aspects of the analyzed individual. Considerable attention is paid to communicative strategies and tactics as a means of communicative and language behavior of a person determined by the direction of communication and in case it becomes different changes connotation of communicative strategies and tactics as well. The study offers the hypothesis that a low as well as a higher level of socialization deals with disproportion between rational and irrational constituents of the intellect of the person. Communicative and speech behavior of the individual are stressed by communicative strategies and tactics which are regulated by communicative direction of the utterance whose change causes different connotation of strategies and tactics. Functional specifics of communicative strategies and tactics with different connotation are concerned in dynamics. The article provides insight into interpersonal relations between the speakers. The authors conclude that the individual turns to cooperative strategies and tactics if he is an addressee. It is shown that the understanding of the evaluative function of communicative strategies and tactics is controlled by their different linguacultural paradigms. The article addresses the problem of socialization of a person in the community of today. The conclusion dwells upon the idea that virtual communication is a barrier to real cooperation of people. The paper is interdisciplinary in nature, written at the turn of linguistics, sociology and psychology.
