Abstract:
It is not often that the media genre “A Letter to the Editor” becomes the subject of a special study. The present paper seeks to attract researchers’ attention to its semiotic facet via two approaches to the analysis: firstly, from the view point of a separate homogeneous semiotic system per sui, and secondly, from the view point of two heterogeneous semiotic systems interactions.
