Abstract:
The article looks at the system of the poetic text from the textual and lingua-synergetic perspectives. The author describes the paradigmatic triad of language states and identifies non-closure, non-linearity, and non-stability as primary systemic attributes of the poetic text. He then focuses on non-closure in more detail and demonstrates the intertextual nature of the poetic text’s system units through his analysis of “Pursuit” by Sylvia Plath.
