Abstract:
The article considers the concept of intralingual translation / interpretation, its main features and types, and substantiates the necessity of using intralingual translation / interpretation exercises at the preparatory stage of training interpreters as an effective means of developing verbal agility. The article also provides descriptions of basic intralingual translation / interpretation exercises.
