Abstract:
The article looks at interactive technologies used to teach interpretation by the faculty of LUNN’s Department of French studies, Translation and Interpreting. It describes technologies used to optimize classroom time as well as students’ independent work, which, among other things, include international conference mock simulations where students serve as interpreters. This enables students to gain practical experience in interpretation and in preparing for interpretation, to obtain a better vision of their profession, and to expand their understanding of what an interpreter’s training and self-education actually involves.
